Nurse Practitioner, Vascular Surgery, Leah M. Martin, NP operates with clinical, and procedural responsibilities in the care of adult patients requiring vascular and endovascular surgery. Under the supervision of the Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Dr. Omar. P. Haqqani, Leah has a critical role within inpatient and outpatient settings with both team member and individual duties. These responsibilities include preoperative and postoperative patient examination and assessment, diagnosis, and planning; treatment implementation, coordination and continuity; performance of specific procedures; development of practice protocols and evaluation of quality of care; education of patients, families and other health care practitioners.
Leah’s care is all encompassing. She respects every patient’s decision and is committed to following through with their choices. She is a great listener and will always take as much time as needed to build a trusting relationship with her patients. She remains dedicated to providing optimal care and will stop at nothing to provide the best care and treatment possible.
In her spare time, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband and children. They enjoy camping, boating, waterskiing, and riding motorcycles.
